In 2019, our team traveled to Israel to train at the birthplace of Krav Maga and experience firsthand the environment that shaped its development.Training in Israel provided a deeper understanding of the mindset, discipline, and real-world necessity that define the system. Beyond technique, it reinforced the principles of awareness, readiness, and responsibility that are central to authentic Krav Maga instruction.During this time, we trained alongside experienced instructors and immersed ourselves in the history and culture of the region. Visiting historic and sacred sites further strengthened our appreciation for the resilience and commitment to defense that shaped the system’s origins.The lessons learned during our time in Israel continue to guide our approach to training and instruction at Battle Rock Krav Maga.
